Question: Did Captain Kirk's original Enterprise (tos) have emergency force fields!?
We know TNG and beyond had emergency force fields that activated in case of hull breach!. On Enterprise, Captain Archer's ship had emergency 'bulkheads!.' What about TOS Enterprise!? (Not movie Enterprise refit or Enterprise-A!.)

If TV Acres is right, they did!. You just couldn't see it (they had to just act as if it was there, as someone mentioned here earlier)!. They called it a "deflector" !.!.!. I vaguely remember something like this but I was pretty young!.

I don't remember any internal emergency force fields other than the small ones for quarantine!. It's been quite a while since I watched the original series though!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
