I agree that the John Hughes films were great -
But you also had the Friday the 13th's - Nightmare on Elm Street - Poltergeist's - Karate Kid - lot of GOOD sequels - the later ones started to suck when they hit part 3 and after that ugh!Www@Enter-QA@Com

Taxi Driver
The Exorsist
The Deerhunter
They took their sweet time in those days, no need to cut a beautiful scene down!. I think the wedding part of "The Deerhunter" lasts something like 45 minutes!Www@Enter-QA@Com
