Question: Is it true that there were no film schools back in the 50's!?
Were there no such thing as film schools in the 40's 50's or in the time of David Lean, Orson Welles, Francois Truffaut etc!?

What's the difference between plot, script, story, screenplay!?Www@Enter-QA@Com

Answers:
Not as such!. Back then, it was pretty much learning by doing and watching how it was done, not a bad way to learn the business no matter what anyone tells you!. Even Steven Speilburg hung out(lucky him) at a film studio, snaeking in and out of various departments, trying to learn how it was done!.This created in him a great respect for the craft of film making!. Not that I'm against film schools but there's nothing like learning from the inside outWww@Enter-QA@Com
