Question: Ghostbusters 3!?
i heard a rumor that a 3rd ghostbusters was in the works!. is there any truth to this!?Www@Enter-QA@Com

all i do is look at movie news and i can tell ya this:
About 3 years ago, a article popped up on the internet with a story line for a Ghostbusters 3 where the team finds a portal to a NYC that is HELL!.
Well that probably turned most people away (including me) but i continued reading the news on this story in case they might change it!.
Bill Murray was the first problem for the sequel since he took one look at the script and dropped out!.
You just cant do a GB with Bill Murray, He is GB's
you could drop Ackroyd and Ramius but not Murray!.
So then a article pops up in cinescape!.com that says Ben Stiller is slated to replace Bill for the role, as a new ghost buster and i said HELL NO!. Ben Stiller is no Bill Murray and sure the heck isnt a ghost buster!.
So i was totaly against the sequel by this time!.
Then came word that Bill would do it IF it was done as a cartoon, and not live!.
I dont know what became of that plan!.
Now i hear CGI, and thats even worst!.
By the way
the name of the movie was to be: "Ghostbusters In Hell"
that alone should make ya not want to go see it!.
There is one idea that had been considered early in the 90's that i wouldnt mind (if they did more sequels)
There was a show called "Ghostbusters Next Generation" (or so) and it was about a new group being the GB's!.
the idea at the time was to have the original team to hand off the business in a movie!.
I could still see that happening, if done right!.
But to go back and do a sequel with a new cast member Still of all people, i dont support!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

I'm afraid that rumour has been flying around for years and still no-one has snapped up the idea!. Bill murray isn't that keen apparently which is a shame!. There is, however, a new Ghostbusters game which is voiced by most of the original cast!. Dan Ackroyd wrote a script 2 years ago, I think this may have been used for the game but don't quote me!

I'm pretty up to speed with what films are in development and I’m quite sure they're not making one!. They are making a computer game on the 360 which is scripted by the same writer and has been referred to as a "spiritual successor" to the films!. But unfortunately there probably will never be a true sequel!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
Ghostbusters III is a proposed project!. During his interview with Mike McGuire on CISN Country 103!.9 FM in Edmonton, Alberta, Dan Aykroyd announced that Ghostbusters III: Hellbent will be CGI!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
the only thing i have heard about a 3rd ghostbusters is a version that is coming out on the xbox360!.!.!.!.its not a remake of the original two, its a follow on story set two years after the 2nd ghostbusters story!.!.!.
