The book had much more detail!. The movie had to leave out quite a lot that would have made the story more enjoyable!. There were also 2 or 3 places in the movie where the things that happened really didn't make a lot of sense, based on who the characters were and what they were going through, and that's the result of the parts of the book that got cut!.
The movie is fantastic, and visually, it's BEAUTIFUL!. Definitely go see it!. But read the book first!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

Of course the book, that is usually the case with everyone who has experienced both!. I was disappointed in the first Narnia movie as well; I just didn't feel that it was executed nearly as wonderfully as, say, the Lord of the Rings trilogy (for some reason, LOTR and Narnia always seem to been mentioned together, though LOTR is obviously far more sophisticated)!.
