Of course it's all personal opinion!. It's easiest to compare it to other movies, most of the time!.
Cloverfield: If you liked Blair Witch, then you may like this one!. It's not too realistic, I don't think, but very entertaining!.
The Mist: I really enjoyed this!. But, many people say that the ending is "too much!." It's not your typical horror film!. But if you do watch it, PLEASE watch the Black & White version!. It's much better because the director wanted it to be that way, but the studio did not!. So, the special effects don't look as good in color!.
The Fog: I would say, NO!. I haven't seen it, but many of my friends say that it's crappy!. The Mist is an actual movie, this is just made to get people to spend money in the theaters!.
If you want a really scary horror film, rent "The Descent!."

Cloverfeild was exremely good!. The first 20 minutes or so were quite boring, but needed to be there so you could understand what was going on!. After that it was thrilling and I was almost always on the edge of my seat!. I thought the shaky camera added to the mood and made it more realistic, but some will disagree!. So if you dont mind the unsteady camera, it was a great movie!. Def worth watching!.

I thought it was quite dull, despite lots of the positive reveiws it has gotten!. I havent seen the remake, but I heard and read that it was aboslutly terrible I havent heard one good reveiw about it, actually! cloverfield was one of the stupidest movies ever made!.
I saw the mist with my grandpa and we enjoyed it but it seemed to be a theaters movie more than one that i would watch at home!. the whole movie was good but i absolutely hated the ending!. so maybe if it has an alternate ending it might b better but you should watch it and i have never seen the movie the fog cause i heard it was dumb!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

What's up with you and water/moisture!? Fog, Mist!? Haha, uhh Idk about Cloverfield!. But I recommend the Amityville Horror (2005) if you haven't seen it, Hide and Seek, House of Wax!. But I'm sure those are finee!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
