Are movies and actors in the 80's is much memorable and iconic than movies i!

Question: Are movies and actors in the 80's is much memorable and iconic than movies in the 90's and early 2000's!?
In the 80's there were movies like Back to the Future, Indiana Jones, E!.T, Rambo, just to name a few!. Is it because I grew up in the 80's or are 80's movies really more memorable, diverse, original!? Even the actors/actresses were more iconic!. There were Schwarzenegger, Stallone, Harrison Ford, Bruce Willis, Johnny Depp, Michael J!. Fox, Christopher Reeves, and others!. I feel stars nowadays pale in comparison with them!. Even the movies they reprise their roles in, make box office hits, and my opinion, these are what movies should be like!.

I know lately Hollywood has been getting back on track making much more memorable movies, but for the most part, didn't movies in the past 10 years or so, suck!?

If you disagree, kindly name some of the movies you thought were awesome!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

Unless those people are still around, which they are!.
I don't like anybody "new" nowadays they all suck! :P
Some (and I mean like 10%) movies that come out are better then anything from 20 years ago!.!.!. but there's not that many!.!.!.
Harrison Ford and Johnny Depp are still my favorites!.!.!.
They still make good movies!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

I don't necessarily disagree but how bout Will Smith!? He isn't 80's!. Ben Stiller!? Tom Hanks!? Keanu Reeves!? Jim Carrey!?

I'd have to take team a, only cause I'm a Star Wars geek, but I would certainly take Will Smith over Schwarzenegger and Willis!. Don't forget Men in Black & Independance Day!.

Oh and Johnny Depp, no hit movies where he was the lead in the 80's, he would fall in your group B!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

Not personally, but I know a couple of people liked 'Titanic'!. There's also 'Lord of the Rings', 'Spiderman' series, 'Kill Bill', and I'm sure some romantic movies too!. More recently there has been 'Transformers' and 'Cloverfield'!.

And my personal favourite cult classic: Donnie Darko!. (Ironically, set in the 80s!.)Www@Enter-QA@Com
