At what age were you allowed to watch "violent" movies like Pirates of!
Question: At what age were you allowed to watch "violent" movies like Pirates of the Caribbean!?
I'm nearly 15 and my mom is freaking out because I want to watch the Pirates of the Caribbean movie with my friends!. I'm very mature for my age, and I know the difference between a movie and reality!.!.!. but my mom is still worried that violence (even small amounts) will"contaminate" your brain!. At what age were you allowed to watch movies with minimal violence like this!?!?

Wow!. Your mom is over- protective!. I watched them at age 10!. I'm not like other people who watch like R movies at 6!. I'm very responsoble and a straight- A student!. I've been allowed to watch R-rated movies since I was born!. I remember watching Pulp Fiction when I was 6 (although I didn't understand it until I rewatched it much later)!.

My parents are the total opposite (and most parents)!. They would let me watch violent movie at very early ages!. Yet they make a big deal about sex even after I was 18!.

I went to see sleepy hollow which was rated R when I was sick and have been watching movies like that since I was six, I wouldn't worry POTC(pirates of the carribbean) has minimum violence and is usually all drama and comedy so tell your mama to chillWww@Enter-QA@Com

POTC had a little violence but i think you should be able to watch it considering it's still a Disney movie!. I watched those kind of movies at like 11 or 10!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
