Question: Can't find the name of a children's movie from the 80s, perhaps the 70s!?
Hey,
there is a movie I remember watching when I was little!. Apparently none of my brothers remember this movie but I really loved it!. However, I cannot remember or find the title for anything!.
In the movie a young boy comes home from school (his home is like a townhouse or apartment)!. When he enters the house he finds a box addressed to him!. When he opens it there is a kid-sized red car!. also, a car toll looking like a barbershop pole appears in the room!. The boy gets in the car and it drives through the toll and the boy enters another world!. In this world he appears in cartoon form!. The movie is about his adventures in this world with his car!. I only remember bits and pieces after that!. If anyone remembers watching this movie please let me know what the title was!. I would like to find it again!. Thanks!Www@Enter-QA@Com

It sounds like The Phantom Tollbooth to me, a movie that my husband and I really loved when we were youngsters!

Edit: To Felicity, the wiki says "A VHS version of the film was released in 1992 by MGM!. A DVD version should be available by 2008 according to Warner Home Video!." So you might be able to order the DVD soon!Www@Enter-QA@Com

Oh my! I had the very same question!. That was one of my favorite movies too!. I remember a skeleton telling him to find him a needle in the hay!? And two kings/brothers that disagreed on everything!?
