Answers:
Depending on the movie theatre;
When the showing is advertised, technically they have to show it - someone could arrive 30 minutes late (believe me, I've seen it happen) and ask for a free pass to any movie because of "false advertising" if the movie was stopped!.

Rule of thumb for many theatres is to stop the film after one third of it!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

It depends on the individual theatre's policy, but I would imagine not!.

Some theatres have a policy where there has to be a minimum number of people present before they'll show the movie!. If you want to find out how your local theatre does things, you should ask one of the employees!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

i used to hop theatres in my younger days and went in to the blair witch (after the hype died down)!. that theatre was completely empty, the lights were dim (not totally down) but the movie was still running!. the guys i was with and i ran around the whole theatre until one of the regal employees asked for our ticket stubs!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

Yes, they still show it!.

They don't need to pay 'per showing' of a movie!.!.!.!.
they pay one time for the rights to show it at all, and then it is up to that theater how many times they want to show it, depending on how much money they think it will bring in!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

Yes, its always good practice for a theatre to play a

movie even if no one is there!. It is also a good opportunity to

readjust settings and such!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
