ok, i know this is sad!. how exactly does blockbuster work!? how do u rent a movie!? do you have to open a account or something!? can u just pay w/ a credit card!?!? help!!!Www@Enter-QA@Com

I rent from them all the time!.!. both in the store and online!.
You need an ID and a credit or debit card to open the account!. It could be mix or match!.!. meaning if you want to open the account in your name and you don't have a credit card or debit card, you can open it together!.!. with someone else and supply their billing info!.!. BUT THAT PERSON MUST BE WITH YOU WHEN YOU OPEN THE ACCOUNT!!!
as the case with me!. I changed banks, but before I got my debit card, I added my brother on my account and we used his payment info!.
You can rent upto 9 movies at a time!. I know in Hoboken, NJ where I go to rent, they are about $4!.59 to rent each one!. I am not sure if it a set price across the board!.!. you gotta account for tax too!. Blu-rays are more and the video games are more too!.
If you rent a new release movie, let say like Semi-pro!.!. You rent it for two days!. Blockbuster used to charge right away if you were late returning the movies!.!.!. but they have a new policy now!. You have a grace period!. You can keep the movie upto 7 days without paying a late fee!. They do this for people who might now be able to get to the video store right away!.
Now on that 8th day, if you haven't returned the movie, they will charge the full price to your credit card or debit card!.
But don't worry!.!. if you don't want to movie!.!. you can bring it to them and they will take it off your credit card and only charge you $1!.25!. They call it a restocking fee!.

You have to set up an account - they will give you a key ring tag and/or a wallet card that you swipe when you want to rent movies/games!. You will still need to pay for the rental (the card is not payment) but it's their way of tracking who has what!.
