I wouldn't be surprised!. Scott,when he had a director who could handle him(and they were rare)was capable of greatness as evinced by his performance in,"Patton"!. Tracy had had for years,the reputation as one of the screen's greatest actors,primarily for his ability to do everything without seeming to do anything,in a phrase,you never caught him"acting" not an easy trick to pull off in front the camera and a lesson almost everyone who worked with him learned!.
