Uuuuuhhhhh!.!.!.!.!. In 1939 when the film first premiered, There were no bigger stars than Clark Gable, Vivien Leigh, Olivia de Havilland and Leslie Howard!. There are few stars today that could hold their own against that original cast!. BUT were I to choose, I would pick George Clooney to play Rhett Butler!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
Have you seen the sequal to it, called "Scarlett"!? It's based of the sequal the author wrote!. However, Vivian Leigh and Clark Gable are not in it, and I found the movie to be a flop!.
Personally, I loved the original cast and probably wouldn't want to see another Gone with the Wind unless it had them in it!.
Although, Catherine Zeta-Jones is gorgeous and has striking eyes like Vivian Leigh!. Tom Cruise could make a good Rhett, because he's handsome and charming!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

Yeah it's neat to brainstorm about this but frankly I don't think you should mess with a classic!. I hope they don't remake 'Gone With the Wind' and never try!.
