What's your opinion of American History X? Which scenes are your favorite?!

Question: What's your opinion of American History X!? Which scenes are your favorite!?
I think it's one of the best movies ever made!. Edward Norton's performance was simply mind-blowing!. My favorite scenes are
1!. The curb-stomping scene in which Norton killed that Black dude who tried to jack his car!. I loved the intensity of it!.
2!. Norton's transformation in prison from a violent, emotionally-struggling thug to a "responsible" family man!.!.!.I think it was one of the most believable transformations ever seen!.

also, the famous message "Hate is self-destructive"; I think the movie is able to drive home the point much better than any preachy school/church bullshit!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

I completely agree with you! It was one of the best movies ever made! And Edward Norton's performance was intense and mind-blowing! It shows you how much hate someone can have for another race which in the end is pretty useless! But yeah my favorite scenes are your favorite scenes as well! And another one is when he goes and punches the man that is brain washing his little brother and (and himself once too) and his brother gets mad and runs off all pissed and he finally catches up to him and he explains to him everything that happened to him in jail!!! And once again you're right that was one of the MOST believable transformations ever at least one of the most believable I've seen!!! I still love this movie, I can literally sit there and watch it over and over again without growing tired of it!!!! =) I also felt bad at the end of the movie where he finally gets his brother to see the reality of things but yet his brother gets killed!! It's a great movie though!. Kind of sad!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

It was pretty good, more symbolic than I thought it would be!. I wouldn't say it was the best movie ever made, and neither would the director, Norton re-edited the film to give himself more screen time!. In fact I wouldn't even say it was the best film of that year, The Hole, by Tsai Ming-liang, would get that honour I think, even though it's kind of overly-romantic, and a musical!. American History X had some basic storyline elements in it, but with the subject matter it's dealing with those tend to go unnoticed!. I liked it though, and I did think Norton's transformation was fairly believable, and realistic!. Sorry if this is hard to read, I wrote it quickly and sloppily, but don't feel like fixing it!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

That movie is intense!. It takes your breath away when watching some scenes!. The scene where he stomps the guy on the sidewalk is awful!. I can't hardly watch it!. But I think my favorite scene is at the end where Edward Furlong's character gets shot in the bathroom!. You think everything is going to be okay because he decides to turn his life around and then *BAM* over!.!.!.Great movie!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

i watched bits and pieces of it!.!.!.but i thought it was crazy when the dude put his mouth on the sidewalk and the man stepped on his head!.!.!.!.

there's no way i hell i would have let him do that to me!.!.!.!.just shoot me!.!.!.!.but from wat i saw it was good!.!.!.!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

The scene you descibe haunts me!.!.!.I know that level of violence is in me!.!.!.!.know I control it daily!.!.!.!.the film shocked and uplifted me at the same time!.!.!.!.!.just bloody brilliant!.!.!.!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
