This is a pretty interesting story that they didn't put in the movie!.
Long Ago the Tin Man had once been a human Woodchopper!. He lived in the munchkin village and soon fell in love with a munchkin girl who happened to be a slave of the Wicked Witch of the East!. When the witch was scared that the woodsman would take her slave away she put a curse on his axe!. So every time he tried to chop wood, the axe would slip and chop off a part of his body!. The only person who could help him was the tinsmith, who replaced the severed body parts with artificial limbs made out of tin!. Eventually his entire body was made of tin!. Even though the munchkin girl still loved the tin man and they were engaged to be married, the Tin Man without a heart was now unable to love her anymore!. He then decided to set out on a journey to find a heart while leaving the girl in the hands of the witch, but he forgot to bring the oil can with him and as days wore on he became so rusted that he was no longer able to move!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
