Question: Why is it such a big deal that "The Happening" is Nights' first R rated movie!?
I was watching the preview for "The Happening", and the narrator said "His first-ever R RATED MOVIE" as if I was supposed to go "ooooooh, now I want to see it even more!"

Its not a big deal!. Woman being raped, mutilated, tourtured, and finally killed in Darfur!.!.!. now thats a big deal, but we don't see that every five minutes on the tube do we!? Either way, after "Lady in the Water" they are probably doing everything but selling thier souls to promote Night's movie!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

Its just the way they are marketing this one!. Some people are more attracted to R rated movies, especially in the genre that M!. Night Shyamalan's movies usually are!. They figure they will see more gore or whatever!. So its just a different way to market it!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

Marketing to an adult audience that he has lost over the years with fodder like Lady In The Water and The Village!.
