Question: How do I become a film critic!?
I am interested in becoming a film critic!. The only problem is, I am out of school, and don't have a degree in college!. I am a weekly featured movie reviewer for a popular video website!. (unpaid) Though I have been given occasional movie passes as a thank you!.
Its something I would like to do as a living, I just wouldn't know where to begin!. I think being a featured critic is a good start, I just don't know where to take it from there!. Any suggestions!?Www@Enter-QA@Com

I would send some articles and reviews to your local newspaper, and maybe the newspaper in the closest large city to you!. Include your resume listing your experience with the website that you review for and maybe they would consider you for a paid position with them!!Www@Enter-QA@Com
Write reviews of movies and create a portfolio you can show at interviews!. Try applying for jobs or internships at your local newspapers!. Even the free penny-saver papers they throw on your lawn sometimes have movie reviews!. If they don't, offer to start a column!. You may not make anything at all at first, but you can build a resume that way and gradually move up the food chain!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

they probably took journalism maybe some became historians many have outspoken opinions!.

Going to college/university and getting a degree in film studies or even journalism!. You need to write well and have a great understanding of history and making of films!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
usually!.!. u need a journalism degree!.!. but with the internet!.!.!.anything is possible!.!.!. try starting ur own website reviewing movies and see where it goes!.!.!. maybe try to do something a little original like making the reviews more entertaining or something!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
