Question: In movies, what do directors use for weed because obviously it's illegal, but what is the substitute!?

For actors who do not smoke but must for a role, there is an herbal substitute that is used for any smoking scene~legal and illegal!. I'd have to check for what is commonly used!. I remember reading about the herbal cigarettes used by William B!. Davis as the Cigarette Smoking Man in "X-Files"; they're supposed to be available in health-food stores from what I've read about the series!.

I haven't been able to find out what the herb is, but I doubt that it is oregano that is smoked!. They always joke about it when showing baggies!. I'll check a couple of other sites!.

Oregano is often substituted it looks a lot like weed in a plastic baggy!.!.!.

They usualy use oregano for the wrapping parts and in the bags!. For the smoking parts they use plants that will make smoke like weed but wont get you high or be that harmful to your body or just hand rolled ciggerettes!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
