Do u have to be light-skinned to be a bollywood star?!

Question: Do u have to be light-skinned to be a bollywood star!?
Answers:
No not at all!.!.!.I am pretty sure a person can sue the industry if they are discriminated against because of his/her skin color!!! If the person has a true talent then I don't think he/she needs to worry about skin color:) (Some examples: Bipasha Basu, Kajol, Rani Mukherjee and Malaika Sherawat!.!.!.they are GREAT actresses) If you are asking this question for someone you know or for yourself all I want to say is don't worry about skin color and if you really want to go into the industry and you have a talent then just go for it (BTW going to an acting school will only help your chances) GOOD LUCK :) and if you are just wondering then I hope my answer helped:)Www@Enter-QA@Com

Nope!.!.!.!.!.It used to be like that a few years back !.!.!.But now with small budget films and various acting schools , the scene has improved a lot!.!.!.!.!.Its become relatively easier for newcomers provided they have a lot of talent !.!. Take for example Rajpal Yadav!.!.!.!.!. Even Bipasha Basu didn't have any Godfather in the industry and she's certainly not fair skinned!.!.Neither is Mallika Shehrawat nor are Kajol and Rani!.!.!.!.A beautiful face / light skin can carry you only to the first step of the ladder, after that there's still a lot of climbing!.!.!.
Like i said if u are exceptionally talented , they will give you a chance!.!. Go to the right people, make the right connections but only if you have the potential!.!.!.!.!.!.

Best of Luck!!!!!

absolultley not skin is not a problem , if you are african american that is fine there are so many african american actors for example, will smith! one of the most famous actors of all time ! and also if you have blemishes they will always do hair and makeup, all famous people have flawsWww@Enter-QA@Com

Its all make-up!

The majority of these actors/actresses aren't ALL fair-skinned beautys!. Its foundation, and Loads of it!.

Take Kajol for example, and Rani Mukherji, they come under the "darker-skinned" asian woman!. How do they end up looking radiant and fair!? !.!. AGAIN!.!. makeup!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

This has more to do with the tedency of Indians to link fair skin with beauty!. Most of the actresses here are either fair-skinned or they put on makeup to cover their dark complexion!.

Audience decide what they want to see and actresses are just obeying their orders!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
