When Bruce was on board the USS Harry S Truman to film "Tears of the Sun" - he sat in the heat until 3 AM signing EVERY autograph and shaking every Sailors hand who was there to meet him!.
Mel Gibson - although talented, is smug and demands people wait on him hand and foot - reviews of his rude behavior came out after he filmed "We Were Soldiers"!.
Both are talented but there's more to being a good actor than talent - and that is character!. Bruce is the man!Www@Enter-QA@Com

Mel Gibson because he has that everyman approach that makes his characters interesting!. You can put him in so mnay roles and he does good!. Bruce Willis is one-speed, which is action hero!. John McClane is his bread and butter!. However, this last Die Hard was atrocious!. I don't see Willis being able to effectively play a character from the Middle Ages without that New Jersey accent coming into play at some point!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
MEL- Braveheart and the Patriot are both classics that can be loved by any generation!. I don't think after 50 years anyone is going to say "Remember that Bruce Willis in Die Hard, thats a classic!"

Mel Gibson!.!.!. he's versitile-can do a comedy, can play a soldier/warrior type, or in my favorite film he's done Ransom, a terrified parent!.!.!.

Two different actors but what they do have in common is personality!. You can't not watch these two and thier appoaches to their respective roles are something to watch!. Bigger than life!?Yup!.But in the genres they excel in,they're SUPPOSED to be bigger than lifeWww@Enter-QA@Com
