Not if you plan on getting and HDTV sometime down the road!. I have a PS3 and no HDTV!. But anyways!. It's not going to look any better than a regular ps or ps2 would unless you have a tv that is 1080!. Even a 720 wouldn't be the best because blu-ray and ps3 games are all formatted in 1080 (which means how many lines are scanning across the screen)!. But then again there is no cable or satellite that broadcast in 1080 yet, sooo!. You could buy a new tv with 720 and have decent looking television shows or get a 1080 and have your ps3 look good!. It's all messed up in my opinion!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
I have a PS3 too!.I have a full HD Lcd TV!.I personaly say that it's a waste!.And if you decide to buy one, buy FULL HD not HD READY!.For the best quality I rccomend that you would buy a HDMI cable to connect the PS3 with the TV!.

Blue ray is the "cd" that sony ONE MORE TIME did launch intothe market!. as it did with the DVD before!.

Yes, without a TV that can output AT LEAST 720p, you are wasting your money!. I am assuming that you already have the PS3!. The PS3 has the capability of upscaling regular DVD's!. So stick with them until you buy a new TV and then start your Blu-Ray collection!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
Yes, without a high resolution monitor or screen you wont get a better picture!. Think about it this way if you turn the main valve on the hose to high and keep the nozzle at medium your not going to get more water!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
