It took me several times of watching it before i finally understood it!. This movie is very out of order but I loved it!. Angier and Borden are competitive magicians that sabotaged each others tricks several times!. Borden makes a good trick and Angier makes it better using a double but does not believe Borden is using a double but he really is!. Borden's double and he switch off as Borden and Borden's assistant (cant think of his name)!. Angier buy's a machine that teleports him somewhere else and makes a clone exactly where he's standing!. Every time he did the trick he put a tank under the trap door to drown his clone while became "the transported man!." One night Borden finds the tank and is accused of Angiers death!. Borden's double is hanged/hung (whatever it is) while Borden lives!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
After the death of his wife Angier spends most of his life seeking out revenge against rival magician Borden!. So much so he goes to America and finds an inventor who builds him a machine!. The machine clones him and he kills the clones after each performance(the beginning of the movie with "him" drowning)!. Borden sneaks backstage and sees this and he is accused of murder!. Borden and Fallon are twins and Fallon is the one who is hung for Angier's murder at the end!. Then Borden comes back and murders the real Angier and gets back his daughter!. a very confusing movie that even the people who love it don't understand, a rip off of a much better movie called The Illusionist!.!. see that instead!.!.!. and even better, that one makes sense!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
