Question: Were "the stangers" and "the happening" good movies!?

the strangers i have not seen but i like liv tyler but i have seen the happening and it got a lot of bad reviews!. i lOVEd it a lot!. the cast was amazing!. =P

In my opinion, "The Happening" is the worst M!. Night Shaymalan movie EVER made!. There's too much graphicity in it (in the past, the terrible things have always been implied, but never seen -- which is in good taste, I think), and the end of the story leaves much left to be resolved (is he planning a sequel!? Let's hope not!)
I'd personally save my money, sit out behind the drive-in movie, and watch the grass grow!. It's bound to be more entertaining than "The Happening!."

The Strangers made me scream out loud many times!. I really liked it!. If all you are looking for is a good scream then I would definately go see it!.
The Happening I also liked!. A lot of people don't like it because it is a bit different!. If you saw The Village and didn't like it then chances are you won't like The Happening!. I really like both movies so I found the The Happening really interesting!.

i havent heard of the strangers but i went to see the happening a couple of days ago!.!.!. i was a bit disappointed about the lack of answers as i came out of the cinema!.!.!.!.but thinking about it more (and asking people on here) i do now actually understand it a lot better!.
i did really enjoy the film whilst it was on!. just dont go in expecting it to give you reasons for why what happened happened on a plate!.!.!.you have to pick up all the cues yourself and do lots of thinking!.!.!. which is good i like that!.!.!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

I liked both, but the Happening is one of those movies you will either like or hate, no in between!. I loved it, would buy it, and beleive it could "happen" so thats why it gets my vote!.!.!.!.and very graphic, the ways some of the people die are, lets just say, creative!Www@Enter-QA@Com
