It's about this girl named Rain and she has a talent of singing!. She lives with her mother father brother Roy I think and her younger sister named Benny who is a trouble maker and doesn't listen to what people tell and later on gets killed!. Rain is at the witness and the dude who killed Benny (Jared) is looking for her I guess to kill her but anyway Rain finds out that the parents who she thinks is her parents aren't really her parents!. It turns out that Rains real mother, a white woman, paid rains not real parents to keep her because she is mixed with black!.
