In the Wizard of Oz, Dorothy lands in Munckin land and there are two roads going out of the town!. One is the Yellow Brick Road to Oz that she follows!.
However, there is a second road starting from the same spiral in the center of the town that goes in another direction!. This road is red, where does that road go to!?Www@Enter-QA@Com

You'll notice when Glinda the good witch floats away she seems to follow the red brick road!. In L!. Frank Baum's books about Oz, he mentions four quadrants with four colors: Winkie Country = Yellow, Gillikin Country = Purple, Munchkin Country = Blue, and Quadling Country = Red!. Glinda is ruler of the Quadlings hence that's likely where the Red Brick road heads!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
It's never explained where the "ruby" road goes to,except that in the three-strip Techicolor process of the period,red photographed extremely well!. So well, that(if you look closely) many of the MGM actresses had at one time or other,red highlights in thier hair had henna rinses!. One resaon why Lucille Ball(not a natural red-head)turned to the shade and kept it)or some variation)for the rest of her life!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
