Question: Can anyone identify this film!?
I have very vague memories of watching this film in English in junior high: there was an African American family who had just moved to (or were visiting) the country!. And there's a scene where one of the children is in the forest and a crazy old man erupts out of a hole (a compartment) in the ground!. Since this was English, it may be based on a novel!.
