It depends on what scares you
If it's gore then go for Saw, Hostel, Dawn of the Dead,
If it's freaky then go for one of the japanese horrors like The Grudge or Ring and their sequels or Silent Hill
Stephen King is usually good for playing on your mind try Misery, The Shining, Carrie
Teen horror is good for a laugh and a few jumps Scream, Halloween, Friday the 13th, House of Wax, Texas Chain Saw Massacare
Everybody will say the Exorcist but I don't think this is particularly scary other horrors that you might like include:
The Fog
Silence of the Lambs
Blair Witch Project
The Descent
The Cave
The Reaping
Resident Evil
Thirteen Ghosts
House on Haunted Hill
Darkness Falls
Poltergeist
All these are pretty good!.

you need to watch the Devil's Rejects!. amazing movie!. there's also Hose of 1000 Corpses that comes before DR, but you dont have to watch the first one to understand the second!. both are good, but DR is way better!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
