I think Dasavatharam don't have a very good integrated story-line, it looks like the movie was made just for the 10 amazing roles Kamal has played!. But the movie is awesome as a whole!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
Of course yes, Dasavatharam has broken every previous box office record in India and in overseas!. In Malaysia, it is the second biggest grosser, surpassing Kung Fu Panda and The Happening!. In Singapore, the queues in ticket counters start as early as 4:00 am and dont seem to subside at all!. Dasavatharam was made with a budget of 65 crores but it has made a profit of 100 within 8 days!. In B and C centres like Nagerkoil, Kumbakonam people dont understand Chaos Theory but they watch it for Kamal's 10 Avatars and the amazing stunt sequences!. Ordinary man is lauding the movie for its visual effects and racy screenplay while the intellectuals admire Kamal's brilliance in linking 12th century, Tsunami, Bio Technology and Chaos Theory!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

This is an Indian movie - dont compare it's standard with movies made in other nations for other peoples!. This movie was made as an Entertainment feat to satisfy and suit for all layers of Indian community!.
From the dothi washer near the cavery banks to the trishaw puller in madras to the padi field farmers in the rural villages - to the intellectual derelicts in TIDAL park ,an Indian film must satisfy and entertain the masses of all these community!. - no american film standard can wholesomely suit, adjust , entertain and satisfy all these layers in our community!.
So remember when rajnikanth or kamal hassan makes a comical cameo that may seem very much unacceptable and not in par with American standard movies but it is this kinda flicks and twist that makes a greater understanding and entertaining for the 300 or more millions of Indian community in India who are illiterate and statistically way-way below the poverty line!.
so dont talk for your self as how and what you are but this movie was made to cover Indias every layers of individuals taste bud!.

People from India have thier very own historical legacy , thier own tradition ,thier own rituals , thier own religion, thier own rich culture!.!. thus for many thousands of years they have carved a unique civilization for themselves!. Hence thier way of living style and persona is way different from then the westerns!.
The american are not Indian , a movie taken for them suits , fits and entertain them - but Indians are not them - American standard movies dont fit , satisfy or suit Indians as how it do for the Americans!. For Indians - they need an Indian film - that was made just for them, then they get so happy with it till they will even do milk obillation on the actors cut-out and regard the actors in par to demi gods!. Because its simply Indian film made at Indian standard for all layers of Indians!.
