AND BELIEVE ME!.!.!. I do!.!.!. I think it is gonna be the greatest comic book interpretation EVER I still feel Jim Carrey would of possibly been a better Joker!. If his credibility hadn't been ruined by playing the Riddler in Batman Forever I think he should of gotten it!. I mean!.!.!. Jim Carrey fits the bill EXACTLY!.!.!. tall, lanky!.!.!. huge smile!.!.!. also!.!.!. Carrey is a MASTER of voices!.!.!. just imagine the comedy of the Joker through Jim Carrey, but added the sick and twistedness Chris Nolan has added to this story!. And Carrey is older then Bale!.!.!. just like the Joker is supposed to be older then Batman!. Just imagine Carrey prancing around as the Joker and made up the same way Ledger looks as the Joker!.!.!. this could of been the role that FINALLY made people take Carrey seriously as a serious character actor!. That's alright though!.!.!. The Dark Knight is gonna be SICK anyway and Ledger should probably get an Oscar if he is as good as he looks!. JULY 18th, BABY!!Www@Enter-QA@Com

I hadn't think about that, and you're probably right, I mean, right now picturing Carrey as the Joker, with all the creepy make up, etc, I think he'd have fitted in perfectly!. Just look at all the crazy gestures he made when playing The Mask, he looked crazy, a little turn and he would have looked almost scary!. You need to have that crazy touch to play the Joker, just as Nicholson put his little speck of madness with those crazy eyebrows of him :)
I think it'd have been interesting to watch Carrey in that character, just so he can convince whether he's multifaceted as an actor or not, to look crazy in a character without comedy!. He did good in dramas, such as Truman's show and Eternal Sunshine!.!.!.now he needs a serious thriller like this one!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

Actually, I was quite a bit more attached to the idea of Paul Bettany playing the Joker - probably because he's looked suitably demented in just about everything else I've ever seen him in!.
But Heath Ledger looks to fit the part pretty well!. And I don't doubt that Jim Carrey could have pulled it off, too!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

oh i am so excited for that movie! yeah when i saw the preview heath ledger did look really scary and fit the joker's description, but i am gonna have to agree with you!. jim carry would make a good joker!. his smile is kinda creepy at times, if you think about it that way!. also he could act like he did in the number 23!.!.!.that would be goodWww@Enter-QA@Com
I am a HUGE Carrey fan myself, and you and I both know he's been in more than his share of serious films too!. But have you heard Ledger's joker laugh!? It alone, I think, speaks to his potential!. I will agree that it does seem like a good Carrey role, having that sick quirkiness and even a good physical frame for it, but from the previews, Ledger seems like he really nailed the demeanor!. I have high-freakin' hopes for him!. And hey, didn't Jim already get a shot as the Riddler in Batman Forever!? He totally already had his turn on the Batman villain train!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
