there could possibly be a remake of Nightmare on Elm Street coming out in 2010 (i really doubt it) but on imdb it says in the full synopsis:
In a small town, two FBI agents must track down a child rapist who uses a knifed glove to mutilate his victims!.
And woah, since when was he a child rapist!? I knew he abused them but they really arent gonna change it are they!?

I dont know if that is true or not but in the original he is a child rapist and that is why the parents of the neighborhood killed him and that is why he haunts them in their dreams all burned and stuff because the parents burned him!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
