"The Emerald Forest" directed by John Boorman!. The kid was played by the director's real life son, Charlie!. By the way, the term "savage" was pointed more to white men and modern society, not the humane tribal people the kid lived with!.

I don't recognize the second one!. I've read a number of descriptions of films that include a witch doctor but haven't come across any that also include telekinesis!.
I thought for a moment of the Tom Baker story in "Vault of Horror", a portmanteau ("anthology") film, in which he is an artist seeking help to avenge himself on the men who cheated him!. He does go to a witch doctor for help with his plan!. Afterward, what he does to a person's portrait happens in some way in real life!. Of course, the silly man has been stupid enough to paint his own portrait!
The box art doesn't sound at all familiar: an eye emitting a red beam!. That just doesn't "click" for me!. Perhaps if you can recall anymore details, we can identify it!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

The first movie might be Pathfinder!. His father and his people come to take over the indians and he is left behind!. When the father returns again (he's a nordsman) he finds that he has become one of the tribes people!. Great Movie!. Sorry can't help with the second!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
