MY OPINION:
Blade Runner was a FANTASTIC movie- and truly showed what "Sci-Fi ment"!. Although overall Alen would probably win- it won thoose awards out of it's Horror Movie Genere!. I would have to go with Blade Runner, because it felt more like a Sci-Fi film showing the human faith!. ALIEN showed us how we get scared a lot!.!.!.

Blade Runner!. (NOT the director's cut!) Alien was basically a futuristic horror film -- big bad monster stalking increasingly fearful prey!. Lots of cool special effects, but that was it, in a nutshell!. Blade Runner was far more thoughtful, trying to define "human" and individual worth!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

Obviously this is my personal opinion, but by far I choose Blade Runner!. The main reason is that it deals with universal themes, such as immortality, human nature, memory!. The production design is superb and so is the acting!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

You're talking about two of my favorite films here!.

I couldn't pick one over the other!. "Alien" is more of a horror film (and just about the best ever), whereas "Blade Runner" is more philosophical!.
