Question: Why Critcs go harsh on the movies!?
like you don't mess with the zohan some people say it good but the critics say it bad!. also the da vinci code movie which is well received aoung fans but critics say it also bad saying the formula doesn't look right!. some people say it good and some say it bad on other moviesWww@Enter-QA@Com

Critics have watched a lot of movies and, in doing so, have developed opinions on what it means to write a good script, develop a well-rounded character, create good special effects and so on!. This doesn't mean they're always *right* (all of this is subjective, after all) -- it just means they have a very well-informed, specific idea of what they believe is good and bad!. Whether or not you agree with them will depend on your own standards for, uh, goodness and badness!.
I tend to agree with most critics' opinions of Adam Sandler movies, so no sympathy from me if you slapped your knee all the way through Zohan and are disappointed that the critics didn't!. But the Davinci Code was a halfway decent movie and most critics gave it that much credit -- it wasn't amazing, but it wasn't total crap either!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

Critics are harder on movies for a few different reasons!. First of all, it is their job to watch a lot of movies and look for things that aren't that good!. Regular people might go to a movie once a month so they aren't so burned out on movies!. also if you go see Zohan, chances are, you're a Sandler fan, but critics aren't necessarily fans, so they won't find it as funny!. also critics are p[aying attention to alot of things behind the scenes, such as the level of acting, the writing, plot, comedy, direction, etc!. Regular people just wanted to go see a movie for a fun evening!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
Critics are harsh on movies because someone could go or skip a movie based on their review!. If they see a dumb comedy, why would they tell someone to pay $10 to go see it!.
If you've seen enough movies, you're easily able to pick up on cliches and devices that have been used over and over, and even notice lame dialogue!. But I agree that movies are being made nowadays with the intention of earning a quick buck!. As long as you keep a movie simple and full of cliches that an audience can feel attached to, you'll garner enough money to make a profit!.
If you look back at Best Picture nominees of long ago, you'll see all time greats facing off against each other (like Citizen Kane and The Maltese Falcon in 1941), but in today's film industry, we'll be lucky to see one every few years come and be something unique!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

Critics are harsh on the movies because movies are mostly crap that caters to the lowest common denominator of stupid!. Since critics are often well educated, they see right through the crap and can tell what utter garbage most movies are!.

because it's their job!. they make their salary out of analysing something to the very core, and these days society is somehow more critical!. It's safer to be critical, and also people today are quite hardened and cynical!. they enjoy and relish reading a harsh review, it's entertainment!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
