Question: Do you think Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix (Movie) was the best of the sequels!?
Please state your opinion and rationale as to which of the Harry Potter run of movies - - Sorcerer's Stone (#1), Chamber of Secrets (#2), Prisoner of Azbakan (#3), Goblet of Fire (#4) or last year's ORDER OF THE PHOENIX was most effective and a "breath of excitement" !. !. !. Personally I feel that they have been rather uneven due to strengths & pitfalls of the novels themselves but also due to the directors' and their choices / mistakes !Www@Enter-QA@Com

I thought The Prisoner of Azkaban was the best!. Alfonso Cauron really captured the darker side of the story at the same time was able to put in the lighter more comedic aspects as well!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
Well let me first start off by saying that I am a HARDCORE Harry Potter fan!. I've read all the books more than once, and I've seen every movie more than once except the Order of the Phoenix!.
The thing is you have to look at the Harry Potter movies as something completely different from the books; really, its like an entire different franchise!. There's too much in the books to include into the movies!.
However, my favorite movie would have to be the Sorcerer's Stone!. I enjoyed the magical feeling I felt while watching it, and I enjoyed how the movie gave us a tour around the magnificent castle!. also, I thought it was the best in terms of including the most important details!. My least would have to be a tie between GOF, and OOTF!. Though, I know the movies can't include everything from the book, it was completely ridiculous to change around complete story lines, like making Cho the one who snitched on Dumbledore's Army (DA)!. I guess where I'm going!.
In the end, though, I love everything Harry!.

you know that's kind of a complicated question but i think A!.P is right!!! books and movies should be seen as different stuff!.!.!.
first of all because it would basically ve impossible to fit everything, from every book into the movies!.
they would be way too long!.!.!.
but as adaptation go!.!.!. although I loooved OOTP i think this one is the worse adaptation ever!. basically 8O% of the book was kept out!. ok, as i said, it's impossible to fit everything in a movie, but still, they didn't have to cut everything out!.
it's the shortest movie of the series and i think if they had at least kept the average of 15O min!.!.!. those 2O would have given room for more details!.
If you don't actually read the book there's no way you can't understand the story!.
but on the other hand!.!.!. i think david yates did a good job and i'm happy he is in charge of movie 6 too!
for example!.!. the scene of them flying over london was just amazing! I watched it on IMAX and was speechless!.
i also heard some actors saying that having david yates as a director meant a lot less screaming [on set]!! LOL

Not really!.!.!. because they missed a butt-load of parts from the book! Well, it's like that for all the movies actually!.

Order of Phoenix was amazing, especially Neville and Luna!. They have developed!. But I love the Goblet of Fire the Best because Robert Pattison was in it lol! It broke my heart when Cedric died =(
