I thought that it was a sad ending but not necessarily bad!. The ending worked on so many levels for me and I (re)learned a couple of lessons!. One!.!. Like one of the guy above me said!.!. You NEVER give up!. Stay , wait , run , fight , crawl your way out of the situation if you have to BUT you NEVER give up!. Two!.!.!. Guns are a life saving tool if handled right BUT they can also ruin people's lives!. In this case!.!.!. the gun saved a lot of the characters from those monsters but at the same time!.!. it also took the lives of four people that could have made it out alive and ruin forever the life of the main character which was superbly played by Thomas Jane!. I saw the movie a month ago and the ending still haunts me!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

The only good part in the movie was when they shot that annoying "Christian" lady was shot!. I mean, wow!. She's such a christian yet lets the hot souldier guy get!.!.!.
