Ok I was watching Episode V the other day in Spike TV and in the scene where Luke tells Yoda that he has to go save Lea and Solo after he leaves Yoda and Obi-Wan, Obi-Wan says that Luke is their last hope while Master Yoda says that their is another!.
Is that other Lea, Solo, Vader or Starkiller ( The protagonist of The Force Unleashed )

Yoda was talking about Leia although at the time nobody knew that!. Gotta remember that in 1980 before ep V came out nobody even knew that Vader was Luke's father and nobody had clue one that Leia was Luke's sister!.
When Lucas first started with the Star Wars story he had 12 parts and wanted to do them like the old Flash Gordon series but realized that that wouldn't work so he cut it down to three trilogies!. The first trilogy was to be about the rise and fall of Anakin Skywalker !.!.!. The second trilogy was to be about the rise of Luke Skywalker and the redemption of Anakin Skywalker !.!.!. The third trilogy was to be about the "other Skywalker" !.!.!. THAT is who Yoda was talking about when he said that in 1980!. It is a little known fact that up until Lucas was trying to finish the script for ep VI Leia was NOT the "other Skywalker"!. He was at the duel between Vader and Luke where Luke was refusing to fight Vader!. George couldn't come up with a reason for Luke to attack his father in a dark side fueled rage!. He fixed this problem by making Leia the other Skywalker and having Vader threaten her!. That one change had a few big time effects on the whole saga!. First, most fans said eewww !.!.!. she kissed her brother on the lips !.!.!. twice!. Second, it eliminated the third trilogy!. That is the main reason why we will never see anything put out as ep 7 - 9 !.!.!. they don't exist anymore !.!.!. at least not in their original form!. Third, it put a face and a name to the "other" that Yoda spoke of!.
So in a nutshell, when the movie came out in 1980 Yoda's words of "there is another" !.!.!. were a reference to the third trilogy!. In 1983 the meaning of those words were changed to mean that the "other" is Leia!.

I don't think that the original movies would reference a protagonist from a source that came after the movies!.
The Force Unleashed wasn't even a glimmer in Lucas' eye when Episode V was written, therefore it really is not Starkiller!.

it's defiitely Leia, they have already given up on Vader, Solo is just some merchant scoundrel, and "starkiller" was the original surname of luke before it was changed, im not sure about starkiller being the protagonist from TFUWww@Enter-QA@Com
He is referring to Princess Leia since it is revealed in the next movie "Return of the Jedi" that she is Luke's twin sisterWww@Enter-QA@Com
