in the 3rd movie, when hermoine was in that divination class, she said she saw the grim in the crystal ball!? and the professor told her that her heart was shriveled etc and hermoine hit the ball nad left!. can someone jus explain that whole scene!?!? she tried to make a prophecy or something and the professor insulted her so she got mad n left!?!?!?!?!?Www@Enter-QA@Com

No, Hermione thought Professor Trelawney was a joke!. (Really, rightfully so!.) Remember, Trelawney keeps "predicting" that Harry will die!. So, when Hermione says "Let me guess, the grim!?" She's just really shoving it into Tralawney's face that she doesn't take any stock into what she's been teaching the class!. She leaves in a fury b/c Trelawney says her soul's as withered and old as the books she clings to!. So, feeling insulted by her remarks, instead of rising above and acting as a mature adult, Trelawney really just sinks into a child's level with some pretty vicious remarks!. Understandably, Hermione leaves the room!.!.!. and if i remember correctly, in the book, she goes straight to McGonagall!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
Hermione hated divination!. She thought it was a pile of crap!. The professor was always seeing dark prophecies and predicting people would die etc!. When professor asked Hermione what she saw in the ball, Hermione made up some dark symbol just to poke fun at the professor!. However, the professor knew what Hermione was doing and poked back!. Hermione was really offended by the shriveled remark (what girl wouldn't be) and stormed out!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
I member that!. Well In that whole little scene (sorry if spelled wrong lol) harry potter saw the "wolf thingy" and something like that, Its bc She is a muggle, and To see the grim was like someone seeing her do majic!. That is my oppinion!. So it was kind of like a rude thing for her to say!.

She was trying to get the right answer, so Hermione said what she thought the teacher would say!. The teacher implied she was wrong, so Hermione, always wanting to be right, got angry and left!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
