Name this movie???!

i watched a movie a long time ago about a little boy who is at home with his family(they live close to a lake) and he goes outside at night for some reason and i dont know if he falls or he just runs into this weird robot thing or spaceship, he ends up going on the spaceship and making friends with it for what he thinks is about 15 minutes, but when he gets back, it is 4 years later and he has been MISSING this whole time!. his family even put up missing posters of him, and all of a sudden he shows up 4 years later(it might be more than 4 years) and he has not grown or changed, to him, to his body it has only been 15 minutes but to the world its been years!. they put him in some kind of scientific lab to "study" him, because no one can explain it!. he ends up being rescued by the robot ufo thing and it takes him back in time i think!.!.anyways!.!.i really liked this movie but havent seen it in years, and i have no idea what its called, do you know!?!?
