that necklace is not real, but as someone said, it was made to look like the actual hope diamond, which is on display at the smithsonian in washington DC!.
The fake necklace was what Rose was wearing when Jack drew her portrait!.

the necklace wasn't real, but was added in the story line to add a reason for cal to shoot at jack- apparently cameron didn't think that sleeping with his financee was enough!. lol
