What is the best bond film and why. Irrespective of the actor.?!

Question: What is the best bond film and why!. Irrespective of the actor!.!?
Answers:
That's a great question!. Let me give you 3 answers for very different reasons

The greatest Bond film of all time would have to be "Goldfinger"!. This movie catapulted not only the character, but the male fantasy concept to a whole new level!. After that movie, men became fascinated with "being like Bond"!. They wanted to be worldly in knowledge, tough in fighting, an expert on cars and gadgets and most importantly an exotic lover with their choice of women!. Playboy icon Hugh Hefner has often drawn a direct parallel to the success of Playboy and the rise of the Bond franchise!. "It all ties in to the ultimate male fantasy" he says!. And Goldfinger had it all and then some!. Not to mention arguably the number 1 all time bond babe "Pussy Galore" played by the stunning Honor Blackman!. And a great all time villian with the Oriental assassin Oddjob with his deadly hat!. Goldfinger created a world wide Bond obsession!. Even the movie "Catch me if you can" depicts the Goldfinger Bond as an inspiration to international con artist Frank Abignale!. Goldfinger also by the way sealed the superstardom of the already popular Sean Connery!. Connery became an international LEGEND largely because of the monstrous world wide success of Goldfinger!.

Here comes PART 2 and this one is much more controversial but it must be stated!. "Moonraker" in 1979 totally smashed all previous international box office records for a Bond film!. In fact, it held the Bond box office record for a staggering 16 years despite inflation!. Cubby Broccoli cunningly made the brilliant and shrewed choice to coincide the release of Moonraker amidst the massive Star Wars, Sci Fy and space movie craze of the late 70's!. Mass marketing of toys, action figures, tee shirts and lunch boxes skyrocketed! Moonraker was an international monster!. Moonraker also had arguably one of Bond's all time most famous villians, JAWS played by the towering 7 foot 2 inch giant Richard Kiel!. Jaws had previously appeared in the "Spy Who Loved Me"!. But in this movie he was a much more featured star!. He alone brought many young people who loved his "cool" character in to the theatres!. The movie was also timed with America's "Space Shuttle Launch" which was a world wide story!. In fact NASA was a consultant to Moonraker!. And Roger Moore's delicious dry wit charmed everyone!. The James Bond association in Surrey England states that had Roger Moore not been cast as Bond that Bond may not have lasted through the 70's and 80's!. And Moonraker was by far Moore's biggest!. Many purists hate Moonraker for it's humor and "shameless" capatalization of the late 70's!. Many others regard it as great!. One thing that cannot be denied was it's SIGNIFIGANCE to the franchise!.

Finally we must give credit to the movie that signaled the "Eternal Survival" of the Bond legacy itself, "Goldeneye"!. For years throughout the 80's fans had been clamoring for the dashing Pierce Brosnan to be 007!. Unfortunately because of his contract on the popular show "Remington Steele" he could not do it!. Timothy Dalton briefly stepped in admirably as Bond in the late 80's!. But then!.!.!.!.!.!.!.nothing!. Nothing for 6 long years!. People wondered if perhaps the Bond franchise had finally reached it's demise!. But Cubby Broccoli had something up his sleeve!. An announcement was made by Cubby that a new Bond was finally chosen!. The whole world EXPLODED IN CHEERS when they found out that 007 was!.!.!.!.!.!.PIERCE BROSNAN! In the months leading up to Goldeneye fans clamored, women cheered, and Bond fans were in euphoria!. It was a rabbid anticipation!. The combination of 6 long years without 007, and the eternally long wait for Brosnan as Bond, made Goldeneye a Super Blockbuster!. It finally became the movie that topped Moonraker!. And Brosnan's name alone as Bond sold tickets all by himself!. He became the all time highest grossing Bond and he also became one of the top paid actors in history!. Goldeneye is the reason we still have Bond to this day!.

There you have it!. The 3 most "Signifigant" Bond films of all time!. Each one of them for a different reason!. And GOLDFINGER with Sean Connery should be considered the GREATEST!Www@Enter-QA@Com
