I thought the scariest/creepiest part was when Bruce Willis' character is listening to old tapes of his sessions with the boy who killed himself in the beginning!. He turns the volume up all the way and you can hear someone talking in Spanish, saying "I don't want to die!."

I think the scariest part of the movie is when Dr!. Crowe asks Cole how often he sees dead people!. Cole answers, "All the time!. They're everywhere!." It's not as shocking as some of the moments like the girl in the tent/fort, but it's chilling and terrifying and you feel terrible for poor Cole!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
This movie stopped me from sleeping for several nights running!. The scenes that terrified me most were:
1!. The wife with the severed wrists who was thought to be the boy's mother!.
2!. The child who says, ''Wanna see my Dad's Gun!?'' When he turns to walk there is a gaping hole in his head!.
*shudder* Very scary indeed, Shymalan's best film!.
