He speaks in an American accent when promoting a movie where is speaks with that same accent!. During the promotion of Batman Begins, in all of his interviews he likes to keep that Bruce Wayne image by talking with an American Accent!. He feels that fans of Batman might be offended that Bruce Wayne, which is an all American comic book hero shouldn't have a welsh accent!. Hope that helps!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

He keeps the American accent so as not to confuse and to keep his image of the American Bruce Wayne!. In particular he has stated that he does this for kids who recognise him solely as Batman so that he doesn't disappoint them!.

Could it perhaps have something to do with his having lived there for over half his life!.!.!.!.!?!? And the fact that up to age 17 (when he left for LA full time) he never settled anywhere long enough develop a 'home accent'!. Furthermore he was brought up in a home where there would have been no fixed accent, as his father was South African!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

Personally I think his British twang is affected somewhat!. He speaks Yank more naturally than he speaks Brit!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
