Question: Why are poeple saying the dark Knight is Too troubling and Sadistic for Children!?

The dark Knight is one of my new favorite movies
it was amazing!!!
but when i saw it i agreed it was definitely too violent and twisted for children below 13!.
It was definitely the darkest of all marvel movies!.
First of all the joker's face alone could be enough to traumatize some young children!.
The joker is a phycho who kills violently savoring each moment of the killings (he even said so himself) its all a game to him and he laughs maniacally about it!.
One gruesome scene half of one of the main character's face literally burns off!. He falls in some oil and when a nearby building explodes his face catches fire!. (it makes sense when you watch it)
Throughout the rest of the movie the character walks around with half a face and you can see the muscles and stuff on the other side
The movie itself isn't all that graphic (blood wise) where i can give examples without explaining too much
but the movie's manner is very phychotic and too intense for children

The Joker once pushes an inocent ladie off a building, and then the parents think the little kids are gonna push other kids off buildings and then there going to get away with it like the Joker did!. But if the parents think the movie is too violent for children, then why do they take them to the movie to see it anyway!. Its rated PG13 for a reason, and if they want to take there kids there, thats there problem!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

Joker cuts a guys face from ear to ear!. Joker slams a pencil through a mans eye!. A man gets half of his face burnt off!. also the whole movie has a dark realist feeling to it!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
It is pretty graphic!.!.I mean they don't really show ANY blood but like when he stabs that guy with the pencil!.!.!.i dont think they should have made it pg-13 maybe R!. But i enjoyed it and Im 13 so whatever!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
