I agree with you!.

But I still appreciate the series being taken in a new direction, if you dont do such it becomes stale!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

2 different styles that shouldnt be compared, each one was good, I like burton's batman movies with jack nicholson and danny de vito as the penguin!.!.!. very dark!.!.!.

also the dark knight and batman begins is very loyal to burton's image of batman

though acting in these 4 movies goes straight to ledger and story!.!.!. goes to the second burton movieWww@Enter-QA@Com

Sorry but Nolan is closer to the comic!. Batman WASN'T a comedy, hence the difference between the two directors, should say more between the two Jokers!. Anyway Ledger was a better Joker to me!. He was more evil!. As far as I'm concerned you are entitled to your opinion, I wouldn't fight you over it!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

do you mean the one with jack nicholson!? i havent seen dark night yet, tho i think you cant make something "better" than the first, even if the graphics are better!. i think that older versions remind us of the past and the memories we dont want to forget come back to us, so we feel nostalgic about them!. and its a classic!. both of the movies are good for their time!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

yeah i think if you like fantasy then maybe the 1960's series is right for you!. i like the new versions better because it makes batman seem more " real' everyone is entitled to their own opinion, yours is just wrong!. jk have a good dayWww@Enter-QA@Com

i agree with you 100%
i loved batman more!. i'm probably going to get a whole bunch of thumbs down but jack nicholson was a better Joker in my point of view!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

heck yes!. tim burton ! i love all of his movies! he is much better at getting the fantasy details right but this movie was pretty good!.!.!. except for two faces part!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

I love them all but it a new time for movies now with audiences needing much more then they use to!. They just have to keep up with the changing times!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

Don't get me wrong I LOVE Tim Burton flicks but The Dark Knight was by far the best Batman movie yet !.!. arguably the best comic book movie ever!.!.!. IMO at leastWww@Enter-QA@Com

Tim Burton's versions of Batman and Batman Returns are definitely top notch, but I strongly feel Nolan keeps much, much closer to the feel and attitude of the comic books and how Batman has always been portrayed in the comic books!.

As far as Joker's go, I apologize now to everyone who liked Nicholson's Joker, but clearly you have not been exposed to the utter depravity of the Joker from the comic books and your only experience is the television show with Cesar Romero playing the Joker!.
Nicholson's Joker was definitely more campy, cheesy and looked as though it was pulled from the television show!.

Heath Ledger's Joker literally channeled what the true essence of the Joker is, from the comic books!.
If you pick-up any Batman comic book, but particularly The Killing Joke graphic novel and Arkham Asylum, you will see what the Joker is!. A depraved, maniacal villian with no real agenda except to, as Alfred put it, "Watch the world burn!."

Nicholsons Joker would have had his rearend handed to him by Ledger's Joker!.
Good example, check out the Batman/Spider-Man crossover where Carnage and the Joker team up together against Batman and Spider-Man!.
The Joker literally turns on Carnage because he has no passion, no theatricality to his killing!.
The Joker is all about the set-up, the show and the kill!.

Of course, just my opinion!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
