Short Answer: Yes, General Grievous is in the new animated movie; The movie is NOT 3-D; They don't even have a cast for the live action TV series so there is no teaser for this show!.
Long Answer: This movie is set in between ep II & ep III so yes, General Grievous is in it and will play a huge part in the movie and series to follow as the commander of the Droid Armies!.
The new movie is not going to be in 3-D !.!.!. the confusion around this can be traced right back to Lucas !.!.!. here's a little part of a recent interview he did in Entertainment Weekly where he talks about the confusion:
Entertainment Weekly: Is Star Wars: The Clone Wars going to be shown in 3-D!?
George Lucas: No, no, it's not 3-D, it's basically CG — I've gotta stop using ''3-D''!.!.!.
Entertainment Weekly: Right, they're not interchangeable!.
George Lucas: It used to be that 3-D was considered CG, and then 3-D actually came to be, so now we have to change [what we say]!. [Laughs]
Lucas is just now starting to "flesh out" the live action TV show and has just begun to write the scripts for the show!. There was a rumor a while back that he was going to begin casting for the show next spring but that has never been confirmed or denied!. This show is not set to debut until the fall of 2010 so I doubt that we will see any kind of trailer for this show for at least another year !.!.!. maybe longer!.
