Nope, good and new in movies RARELY if ever go hand in hand!.!.!. Trust me on this one, see the original version of "The Hitcher" (1986)!.!.!. it's AMAZING and VERY intense!.!.!. I promise you'll be pleasantly suprised by this film!
Another excellent movie that isn't so much your typical horror is Misery-always great!.
The Thing is also an AMAZING film!. VERY VERY GOOD! :)
