Superman is also known as the Man of Steel!. If he's really the Man of Steel, why was Lois Lane, an ordinary human being, furthermore a woman, able to swim underwater and be strong enough to lift Superman up to the surface!?Www@Enter-QA@Com

Answers:
1!.Superman is often detailed as onl being 225-250 Lbs, his resistance to forces is based on his desire to resist those forces, so when semi conscious and sinking he is in fact no heavier than any 225lb human being!.

2!. weight in water is considerable less than that same weight on land, and the water reduces the resistance of that object!.

3!. you combine these two factors w/ the 'Mother lifts Car' adrenaline factor it it is no stretch of the imagination, especially in a Universe in Superman exists, for a petite woman to prevent a spandex clad alien from sinkingWww@Enter-QA@Com

He is not made of steel he would still have the same body weight as a regular man beside the fact that he would be lighter under water!. If he were in fact made of steel you might question why he didn't fall through floors!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
