It wasn't nearly as brilliant as people make it out to be!. It's about twenty minutes tooo long, it's boring in places and the character of Batman couldn't be any more under-developed!.
Cinematically speaking, Batman is no Gone With the Wind or Citizen Kane or The Godfather!. But it's easily the best Batman film and that at least, counts for something!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

I think it was a great movie!. But the best ever!? I don't think so!. There area lot of movies that have been made that are MUCH better overall!.
I know what you mean about classic movies not necessarily being considered the "best" when they were first released!. But I don't think The Dark Knight is going to live forever as one of those classics!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
