Question: End of The Illusionist!?
So this is kinda a year or so old!. But the movie The Illusionist http://www!.theillusionist!.com/ is amazing!.
But what i'm wondering is, for those who saw it; what happened at the end!?
There was a flashback to the mirror scene and the sword of the crown prince etc, but I don't understand how or why she died, and then she's alive at the end, I watched the movie over again and still did not understand!.

It's been a while since I saw the movie!. So I don't remember the exact flashback that you are talking about!. But I know that she never really died!. It was a 'magic trick!.' The magician gave her a medicine of some kind that made her sleep very deeply (maybe even stop her from breathing somehow) in order to frame the prince (or whatever he was) because people saw them fighting and then the small piece of the red jewel was found in the folds of her dress (it was from his sword!.) The movie had several plot holes, but was entertaining so it wasn't a total loss!. Take it for what it is, a movie!. Enjoy it and I hope I helped you understand it a little better!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
The magician came up with the whole plan where she faked her death and the prince got framed for murder!. This plan was necessary because otherwise, the prince would not let her and the magician be together!. The only way for them to be together was to eliminate the prince!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
she never died!. She wanted to leave the prince because he was a bastard and wanted power!. And the illisonist was her lost love!. So they fake her death blaming it on the king cause he was already blamed as a murder!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

In a way!.!.!.!.most of the movie was a grand magic trick!.
