Answers:
The end goes back in time to a point near the beginning when Travolta and Jackson are in some guys apartment!. It's at a later time, probably after Travolta and Jackson's story really matters, that he gets shot by Willis!.

Quentin never really does many of his plots linear, so they always can be a bit confusing!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

the film is split into 3 stories, the one with john travolta and uma thurman at the beginning, the one with bruce willis in the middle, and the one with john travolta and sam jackson at the end!. excpet, the 3rd story with travolta and jackson takes place before the one with bruce willis, so he is still alive at the end of the movie!. the movie is told out of chronological orderWww@Enter-QA@Com

The Chronological order of the story is:

Captain Koons speech to Butch

Vincent & Jules (scene following opening credits)

The Bonnie Situation

The Diner Part 1 (opening scene)

The Diner Part 2 (end scene)

Vincent Vega & Marcellus Wallace's Wife

The Gold WatchWww@Enter-QA@Com

maybe you missed the beginning!. the end of the movie is actually the beginning from a different point of view!. so it jumps back in timeWww@Enter-QA@Com

Maybe you weren't following that closely!. the movie jumps around alot to different times!. And im pretty sure it ended at a time before Bruce Willis killed him!.

confusing but good!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

The story is shown out of sequence!. For example the movie starts with something that doesn't actually occur til later!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

The movie is not shown in chronological order!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
